Default 301 on PDFs?

Hi all,

I know how to do a 301 redirect for HTML pages on a Linux server but is there any way I can do this for PDFs?

Thanks!

Htaccess?

Mod rewrite?

I'm not a Linux guy, but those might work. You should be able to find the info around here somewhere.

Paul:

You do it the same way you would do it for any html page.

For example

in your .htaccess file

Redirect 301 /myfile.pdf http://www.mywebsite.com

You can redirect the pdf to another pdf, other file type or webpage.
