Default What is the most powerful or useful link?

Aside from .gov and .edu. I know gurus will tell that .gov and .edu are useful. So aside from links from authority site what kinds of links are useful nowadays to be successful in SERP.

So where would you find the stable links?
Please specify if what kind of link? Is it from forums post, blog comment or social bookmarking.

Same as they have been for the last 5 years.

1. Relevant links from pages that also rank pretty well for similarly targeted keywords
2. Contain the acnhor text keyword your trying to rank for

Their are many other little tips to, but you get the core idea.

Search in Google for the main 5 keywords you are targeting for your website. All the first page results will be the best websites to target for getting back links from. Evidently this will be different for different websites or keywords. It is best to spend the time negotiating and getting back links form 3 or 4 of these that spend the same time getting 20 random links.
