Lightbulb Uk Seo

I am doing some SEO for a company located in the UK. Any advice for how the UK Google search engines differ than USA. Also, how do you submit sites to directories that do not take .co.uk domains? Thanks

Google is now prioritizing localized site now. So if you want to rank in google UK try to get links from site hosted in UK and .co.uk site.

Are they selling purely in the UK? Hosting in the UK is a good bit of advice, if theyve got a .com it will help a lot. Get some links from .co.uk sites as well. Apart from that there isnt much difference really, it the same principal. But then i havent done much work for US sites!

You may be quite pleased with the UK search engines. Google is even bigger over here than in the US (higher percentage of searches) but the level of competition is lower. Watch out for common differences in spelling and grammar!

(jewelry and jewellery is the big one!)

Enjoy your stay!
