Default Can I resubmit articles?

Article Submission is a good way to get back links. I do have a query regarding article submission.

I do write articles regularly and post it on my blog. They are indexed well in Google. Can I post the same articles on the article directories now? Will it be a duplicate content?

If I submit the articles (without rewriting) on my blog to the article directories like ezine, will they result in back links?

Not really, but creating high quality content on your own blog is.

MSN seems to respond well to articles.

Do you mean to say that I should not submit the blog posts as articles in the article directories?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, I write this reply out of my limited SEO experience:

If your articles have been on your blog for a while it's fine to submit them at websites like digg.com,
don't worry about a search engine seeing it as duplicate content because It's been on your blog (different domain) way longer,
it's about bringing your articles to the masses, they will give you backlinks if they like your writing.

It comes down to quality.

Hope that helps.

MJW.

This is something I'm addressing at the moment. Mainly due to the addition of nofollow tags to links! I was considering looking at article submissions as another possibility.

Well any other SEO techniques. Writing and building better content/website. Contributing to your industry niche by giving back, making yourself more of an authority. Helping others by example.

But by writing articles (pages) for your site and then alerting people to their presence by article submission is exactly what your advice suggests to do? Should he be alerting his industry in other ways?

I dont think your understanding my point. My point is writing articles and syndicating them will not get your rankings.

So, you're saying article creation and syndication wont create quality links (and therefore help rankings)? At all!?

Has anyone had any joy with this practice?

I write about 2-3 law related articles per month and I receive a decent amount of traffic from them. As far as links, many of them show up as links in Webmaster Tools...

i do this and it gives me backlinks and sometime gives me traffic. as what i've said in the other forums, it's not a dupe content as long as you allow first the spider to crawl your newly post article before you submit it in article submission sites

So if my blog posts are indexed, then it will not be a duplicate content if I submit them as a article in other article directories.

As long as you have good content, you may submit and post them on few of directories including your Blog but avoid to go for bulk submission.....
