Default SEO future bright or Dark?

Some of the guys just creating rumors about SEO that there is no future of this and in coming days there would be no need of doing all these SEO activities. Are they correct or they just joking?

Search engines activities are becoming more human like day by day .....

This will eradicate all the tricky & black hat SEO approaches but clean what hat SEO will always remain...What I feel "true SEO after 5 years down the line" will be valuable contents and clean codings.

Hi

Don't worry about that. If such things are bound to happen , then there must be something new will be always there in place of SEO.

For as of now , just try to concentrate on your seo work & don't listen to them...

Have a nice day ahead....

As long as developers suck and cant even put title attributes on pages, SEO has a very bright future.

If they really do become more human we'll have even more work.

Well said root123.

However, I think SEO will undergo certain changes and the process has begun.

Optimization for mobile is the demand of the day! A couple of years down the line people would prefer to surf on their mobile phones rather than notebooks or PC. Getting sites ready for mobile users is what a good SEO company needs to learn.

SEO is black hat, so it's dark.
Unless a certification program is created that guarantees ranking.

Anything other than Adwords is black hat.
Problem is, it does not make sent to do what everyone else is doing.

That is not true at all. In fact Google endorses SEO.
