I have site doing wholes trading business for company worldwide but never do seo and submit to search engine. My question is whether it is possible to have large traffic or users without doing search engine optimization? If you do not do earch, what else do you do to promote your service or business?

I'm sure the answer is no. The web has already become so large, with millions of sites included in the search engine databases, that it's difficult to stand out from the crowd even if you do have a well SEO'd site.
Unless you are "one of a kind" and have a site that's absolutely different from all the others, you're unlikely to turn up at all. Even then, you'd need people to type in the search phrase that would bring yours up.
With what's essentially a wholesale business, you're probably among hundreds of thousands of similar companies, as it is.
SEO isn't easy and it isn't a quick fix, but it's become almost a prerequisite if you want to derive orders from the Net.

Partly agree with you , truely there are hundreds of thousands of site online, seo or search optimism is a must to large your business, particular drive orders from net as you said, but still somesite do not do this and already popular, I know there are some other ways apart from this, like forum posting, email sending, blogging, seo article, links, comments, web directory submitting. and others which I do not know.
Also hoping some experts coming saying to help us from middle of nowhere. Thanks

If the content of your traffic was good enough and contain your targeted keywords I'm sure it is possible for the site to rank in search engine. You can also post to free classified ads if you have no plan to build links for your site.

Without seo if your site is receiving good amount of traffic then obviously its because of your website popularity. This popularity happens through customers when your site has satisfied customers.
