Article Registering and Submission... Help

Hello fellow WebProWorld members.

Ok I'm stumped I couldn't find it by using the search on this site. So time to ask.

I was on the phone with another business man who actually has a web site, we have been dealing with for years. (notice I did not refer to him as a webmaster or SEO pro )

His site is a Vortal in the Construction and Restoration industry.
And they have been wriiting original bi-weekly articles for his Newsletter over 9 years. Some of which have been republished off line by more then a dozen print magazines.

I was pointing out that he should post shorter versions of these articles on some article submission sites. But only after registering them on his site first.

A few months ago I remember reading on this forum about an article or contect registration site to tell the major search engines the original authors and dates. For the life of me I can't find the thread! So give me the latest list you recommend and why!

And just to make this a more fun post.... In addition what article submission sites have each of you had success with and more importantly are there any that you experts would stay away from.....

So esteemed experts ...... help this pair of poor lonely businessmen out....

are you talking about article submission sites where you can do posting without using any featured scheme...
