Question Sitemaps: Dynamic or Static XML for Dynamic websites.

Hello all you Pro SEO'ers,

Can a Sitemap made out of an ASP, PHP, ANY, Dynamically created page formated to look like a valid XML page actually work as a dynamic sitemap without breaking any Google, Yahoo, MSN Rules of engagement in the war of sitemap indexing?

I don't know if I'm risking something by playing with sitemaps and lighter fluid at the same time with Google.
But for the last couple of weeks testing how G's crawler reacts to a dynamic sitemap and a static sitemap.

It appears that the spider doesn't really care and shows the correct number of links and actually reports the progress of indexing for both my static XML file and my dynamic XML file.

Have any of you had experience with sitemaps that are dynamically created? (Similar to your RSS feeds but in UTF-8 Standards that Google uses.)

Do you know of any negative impacts that I might expect from the SE's using this method (Database Driven Sitemaps) ?

Do you know what I'm talking about?
Do you even care about sitemaps? (ha, I know you SEO's do)

I figured I'd ask the Pro's before I end up back at the "School of Hard Knocks".

Thanks,
Mur

I still dont know what the question is. Are you creating a sitemap to protocol specifications? If yes then you are good.
