Default SEO for one = losing the other?

While checking my indexed pages the other day, I noticed that the index page of a site had been dropped from Google. It was still on Yahoo and MSN (live search).

I took a look and it was slightly thin and spammy so I re-wrote the content and asked Google to reconsider the index page. They did and now it is again in the index but Yahoo dropped it!

Wierd stuff going on here. I'll give it some more time to see if Yahoo picks it back up.

I agree with incrediblehelp!

Lots of things are going on in each <link drop removed CD> search engine[/URL] that you need time to analyze its behaviour.

I know, the whole thing always takes time...just thought it was a bit of a strange coincidence. I am gonna give it a good month before I start looking closer at it.

The idnex page missing from the Google index after having been listed then being dropped got on my nerves though.

I'd build the site for the visitor and link to it for the traffic and the search engines.
