I am trying to find out how to remove old information that comes up on search results for my company. If I can't get them removed how can I lower them on the search result - info that has been out there for 3+ years comes up and is not relevant today. This info is on anothers website not ours and requests to remove have been unanswered. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks

Sorry, but there is nothing you can do, except politely ask the site to remove it.
If it is doing you demonstratable harm (eg 'brand damage'; 'defamatory'), then you can get your lawyer on to it - but that will cost a lot and it really does need to be damaging info. The only other option is to make your your company ranks higher than this site, to minimize the damage. Fo eg, type in paypal - the first site is paypal, but there are 2 anti-paypal sites in the top 5. They have been there for > year and with all PayPals legal might they can do nothing (I am assuming that they tried, but I do not really know) CBP |

I should have mentioned ... here is the Google info on removing info, but it only applies to info your site, so not really applicable:
