There are RSS hijackers who can copy you entire RSS info into their own database. Make sure you do not give out your website content in RSS.

Only lend Title and Url along with a small description for your RSS links.

I would always use a manual submission strategy to handle all that. SEs are not very fond of automatic tools and I think you should avoid them. It will take some more time but the results will pay off for sure.
