How to increse Visibility of Website?

I want to know about the ways to increase the visibility of the website, other than;

Doing a Link-building program and Directory Submissions.

Article submission is one of the good way to get back links. You can look for better PR back links as well. And in site optimization is one of the good way to keep the bots within your site.

well, why dont you go online and see what others are doing? for example consider how many companies including the big ones have used Facebook and other social networking sites to their advantage?

also, if you have the time, i would do a little fun video and add your website url there? or maybe come up with something so sticky that people want to forward around?

i think its key not to be too salesy. People had enough of the sales pitches they hear every day, they want something light and easy to remember.

you also could contribute to blog posts by offering advise, or showing more and more in forums under one category so that people would remember you.

it's key not to spam tho!!!

The posting on forums with sigs is *not* worth your time compared with other promotional methods unless the forum and posts are highly relevant. Yes, it may be helpful for some targeted traffic but the PR value is almost nil. I have more than a thousand backlinks from this forum and I haven't seen significant change in SERPs. On the other hand, I have made valuable contacts through participation here, and I have learned a great deal ... and continue to ... but the links alone are not of commensurate value.

Write good, original, fresh content. It also worked for me. My articles are in most sites about SEO in Spain and Latin America and some of them in English are on WPW too. The links I got fired my site to PageRank 5 and got me lots of visits and clients.

All you have to do is to join and submit your articles in Social bookmarkings and forum postings then you have to create a blog related to your site.

If you mean information architecture and structure of the page when you say "design concept" then yes, it has to do with the ranking of your pages. Relevance and indexability will be influenced by them.
