Hi there
I have noted that for the same keyword my website is positioned in yahoo and google with a huge difference.... example some key is n1 in yahoo and not even listed in the top 100 in google or viceversa. How can that be? |

Google and Yahoo have completely different algorithms; what you see (and don't see) is normal, especially for newer sites/pages. Google is more interested in links and the age of links; Yahoo is a little more content oriented. It's more subtle and detailed than that, but that's one way to understand how the two SEs approach results differently.

Thank you very much..... I would like to know what kind of ''things'' yahoo prefer on a page and what kind of 'things' google do prefer..... this will be really good to know....
Personally if I need to really search something and find something relevant I prefer DEFINITELY yahoo. Usually Google find out more results but all is confused. For all the words i have selected I'm now ranked well in yahoo as expected, not so much in google. |

I suggest you thoroughly read the forums here on Yahoo and Google ... and SEO; that should help you figure out what you need to know.
Cheers, MJ
