Title Tag Syntax

I have been reviewing in my head the "rules" for title tag success and a question popped into the vast empty recess where my brain would have been.....had it been present. I wondered to myself if using correct english , or even having a comprehesible (for humans) title tag is important.

For Instance I know a title tag like the following is strictly verbotten

"We sell blue, red, purple, green, yellow, orange and chartruese bicycles."

too many commas.

If I was trying to keyword for each color bike and I made the following title tag:

We Sell blue red purple green yellow orange and chartruese bicycles."

Would it violate any SEO rules or be black hat in anyway?

I realize for the viewer it's awful but I was wondering from a pure SEO standpoint.

I think you better read what is the purpose of a title and how it has to be implemented, written by the creators of that tag: <title>: the most important element of a quality Web page - Quality web tips

I do not agree with them though with their example: e.g. <h1>Section One: When has the Modern Time Commenced, Musicwise?</h1> (with a link to the whole Modern Music Guide for context). <h1> tags being links are semantically incorrect. I will contact W3C through their mailing list to mention that misleading mistake.

I think you have to remember that you have two audiences for your title tags.
1. The search engine indexer. This machine does not care about proper grammar.
2. The humans who will see your title in the organic search results. They do care about readability and comprehension.

I think don't use that kind of format because all of that will become keywprds... Target you keywords example :

Bicycles Seller | Selling Colored Bikes

In this ficticious scenario by folks are not looking for colored bikes. They are looking for Red Bikes or Purple bikes et al. I want to search for each variation.

As for two audiences, the question was formed from a SEO only viewpoint only. I know the effect of poor grammer on the viewer. I want to know the effect of poor grammer on the search engines.
