Lightbulb SEO principles (#1, 1st page) by Cratima.

My point: You must be in the first 2 search pages to get noticed.

I am trying to do SEO for Cratima and XcellenceIT for some time
now, and I've tried not only to have the web site #1 at Google
for the keywords "Cratima" and "XcellenceIT", but also to have
as many presences as I can get in the first page.

I think is important to be in the first page, but it is not sufficient.
You have to be no 1, and you have to set a target for yourself to
occupy the entire first page.

Of course , it is best to be well indexed for other keywords, as
web design, web development, but this is more difficult, and if you
can get your web site in the first or the second page with these keywords,
you will be a SEO guru.

My questions: Are my ideas correct? Is there a big frontier between the first
3 pages of search results (at google for example) and the rest
of them, or not?

My bolding.

Isn't that 2 go 2 be true?

KW search on Google:
Improving web linking using Xlink

The XML family of technologies will revolutionize web linking etc.

No. 7 on this datacenters SERP august 28 2007. So I am a SEO guru

adding XLink to schema

Can we have multiple target namespaces for an XSD file

I prefer to occupy the first SERP page for XML and its family of technologies in stead of being a SEO guru, if I can choose

Being on the first page of SERP is indeed very important. Also being within the first two pages for a particular subject.

However, the ranking for your own url, is obvious. That should be a no brainer. If your having problems ranking for your own url, I would suggest looking at your content and strategy again.

Now, ranking for what you do, that is what you should be after. The secondary terms, which will actually convert for you, will be a little easier when you rank for, or as the Goog calls it, gain Authority, in a broad term.

And you rank well for on your title search, but you're site is completely flash. I think it would be good to get some text/html pages up for some of your sub-topics, and expand your serp results for other things you do.

It's always good to be on the first page always. Most searchers don't go past the first page of SERPs.
