Wink Internal Redirect

Hi,

This is my first post here.

Is it ok or not to have an internal redirect to my index.html from a links.php page I host on my domain that:

a. get's a bunch of (non targeted) traffic from linksmaster service (others have the same page on their site).

b. is designed with a bunch of links to other sites on it - including my link to index at top.

A few days ago I did an internal redirect so anyone landing there would just be directed to my index.html instead of having to click to it. I put this at head: <meta HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" content="0; url=http://mysite.com">

So let me know please. I almost want to cancel the linksmaster service because it looks like the bounce rate is high.

Thanks alot

I would cancel the linksmaster account in 0000.000 nanoseconds if that is quick enough.

Any link scheme is frowned on by the search engines especially Google.

That is why the bounce rate is so high.

Peace

Why do you want to redirect from the links page to the home page anyways? Why not let the users land on the links page? Also if you do, do a redirect do a 301 redirect in the htaccess file (if you have one) and not a meta refresh.
