Default Google Supplemental Pages!

Hi Members

I want to know that how much time it takes to come out from google's supplemental thing.

I am having a site, but 50% of the indexed pages are in Supplement. Please do recommend

some strategy so as to come out of that Supplemental Issue and to gain traffic.

Thanks
Regards
Tushar

Depends on why they are in the supplemental index.

There are a variety of factors that can cause a page to be put there. Lack of links, duplicated tags or content, lack of content etc.

Start adding some new content and like Dave said... make sure you don't have any duplicate tags or content... then run a new sitemap... upload that and you should see a change

Tushar I see your asking a lot of questions that have been asked before. Consider searching the large inventory of posts that Google has indexed from WPW in the past:

Tushar123,

don't worry about the supps!!!

Most websites are driven by 20% of their pages. So what if you've a few of your page in the supps. Make the strong pages stronger and check the traffic flows. From experience niche searches will still show up supp pages anyway.

I just spot why are they in the supplemental results, I fix the issues or remove them from the index.

I do not wait for Google to do that for me. It normally takes me max. 72 hours.

Two advices regarding supplemental index.
1 - Deep internal linking with anchor text
2 - lot more difficult, get many backlinks to inner pages

Now I have a question, what do you mean by duplicated tags ?, I can't create categories then ?

You can do it by creating unique contents of every pages and deep link your pages...

Submit it to deep link directories...

Also build more links...

If you want them to be out of supplemental index you can deep link it...

Submit to deep link directories...
