Multiple Domain Registry?

Hello WPW!

I am a english web designer based in France and I wondered about registering a few sites such as www.web-design-france.com, www.webdesigncompanyinfrance.com etc and have them all point to my own site Graphic Design & Website Design Company, South of France - Pure Design International.

Is this a no-no or would this be seen as OK? I am quite new to the whole scene so any advice would be great!

What do you mean by point the sites benandal? Do you mean hosting the sites with a page that links to Graphic Design & Website Design Company, South of France - Pure Design International or do you mean buying the domains and have them do an automatic redirect to the main domain?

it is a good idea and will aonly attract more traffic to your website

Actually it is an avergae idea and it will only attract type in traffic. Make sure you 301 redirect the secondary domains to the primary.
