Default Validation Problem?

I have a site www.johnsonrealtyofstlouis.com that wont rank in Google for the company name. Johnson Realty of St. Louis. I suspect it has a validation problem with the html, however when I don't know what problems will interfere with GoogleBot. The table in Google sitemaps that gives you the keywords Google knows about your site has many of the phrase on the home page including "louis" but no "st." or "st". They rank for "saint" spelled out but neither form of the abbrevation. The incoming link text all refers to st. louis. The google sitemap clue, leads me to believe it is a validation error preventing "st." from being read. Anyone heard of such a problem?

I doubt the validation problem will prevent Google from all instances of the word 'st.' on your pages. That's a really big reach.

If you know you have a validation error it is wise to fix it. Not only to prevent parsing errors by the bots but from other browsers as well.

Get some quality backlinks, that would help. Start submitting your websites to niche real estate directories.

Sorry to say
Your website is noway search engine friendly design.
1: used 4 levels deep tables for such a simple design.
2: used loads of JavaScript( everything onpage).
3: your html file is 25746 bytes( JS & CSS are on the page).
4: I can't find structured content.

Site are raking for "St. Louis" - I think "St." is not a big issue to worry about.

Try implementing it may help.
Proper mark up language(Check with HTML Validation)
Use of structured content. ( using H1, H2,

[b] etc...)
less html file size( use external file for JS and CSS)

If I'm wrong Point me....
Thanks

Most of the time when I do a search for St. Louis on forums it only searches for louis, This is because the word st. is too short. It is possible that your google keyword density analyzer is only searching for words 3 letters or over.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering when I read the post. Maybe it's just not recognizing the "St." because it's too short?

Why not?
st - Google Search

st. - Google Search
