Default Quest to the next level

I want to take my seo to the next level. I have included alt, summary, and title tags all where appropriate. My javascripts are in external files. Are there any additional META tags that can be recommended? My images are the same size as the width and height attributes. I am 100% strict compliant on my homepage and on 95% of my sub pages. My keywords are optimized and I appear on the first page (1-10) on google for my first keyword. My title tag, and description tags are both pretty well optimized, I mean I can do a little more but I am satisfied with their content. I am ICRA certified, in their database, and an associate member. I have added ample contact information to trustguage.com. I post videos on YouTube and Google Video, which link to my page. I submit articles to directories and Google base in additional to monthly press releases on a variety of channels.

Is validatesite.com for ecommerce only? Would that help?

I really want to drive the traffic in, how do the big boys get hundred of thousands of hits per day? Is it because of word of mouth?

Try adwords and offline ads to generate more traffic. Also type ins generated from a marketing campaign or branding can bring more traffic -- Type ins from expired domains are another source of traffic.

Default Already done

I already do adwords extensively, which is nicely balanced by my adsense revenue. Even with adwords I only receive about 1,500 visits a day. I guess I need a TV broadcast or something, which is way out of the range of my budget.

Default Another question

I just recently added a link at the bottom of my page to an XHTML strict version of my homepage. Is this extraneous? Is this benificial? Is it just a waste?
