Hositng subdomain on different server???

Hi,

I would like to know whether we can host sub domain on a different server or not.

As the main site and the sub domain were not hosted on the same server, will this be treated as spam.

Will the domain and subdomain contain the same data? If they are unique sites (IE, the domain is your company web site, the subdomain is a dedicated site for a specific group of products) this should not cause a problem.

If the content will be different, you shouldn't be penalized for having the subdomain on a seperate server from your main domain.
