My blog currently uses a 301 Direct from the root (www.messagingtimes.com). It is directed to my WordPress blog which is (http://www.messagingtimes.com/blog/?language=EN). The ?language=EN is there because I added a Gingo translation add-on for the blog that allows me to add translations to posts. The permanent links to each post are numerical (http://www.messagingtimes.com/blog/?p=482&language=EN).
So, basically, it looks like a mess. I would like to change, at a minimum, the permanent link URLs to contain post titles rather than numbers. So the question is: Can I do that without breaking existing inbound links to those posts? I'm not getting much SE traffic at all even though I have rakes of content already on the site - and spend far too much time driving traffic manually using digg.com, technorati and del.icio.us. So any help would be appreciated. Thanks a million! All the best Tom
