Can the webmasters please suggest me the best ways of getting listed in Search Engines and getting the SE traffic. I am new to the world of WWW.
Any kind of advice is welcome.

For getting listed your site in try to get links from already listed relevant sites. Submit your site in directories. Directory submission helps in getting more traffic to your site, because of this search engines will automatically find & list your site.
