One article vs. number of article directories !

I have written few articles and submitted in different article directories. I have submitted one article in one article directory only. If I submit same article in different article directories will that be considered as content duplicacy.

Well yes it is duplicate content, but their is nothing wrong with it. Google just picks one to rank over another and another and another and another.
