Default My site is not relevant for Google.

Hello.
We have www.afinetour.com a travel site specialized in South America.

We have seen very nice results in Yahoo and MSN, bug Google does not help at all on the ranking.

We have tried to use all the tools in our hands to have a nice site, we have done good CSS, tried to have good titles, descriptions, good content focused on what we offer to our customers, but Google does not rank us at all.

The site has been up for about a year and a half and we have never done pay-per-click with G.

Could you give us some feedback about what is that we are not doing properly to get the attention from Google.?

Thank you.
Hector.

Hector the major factor when Google ranks a website is IBL's (In-Bound Links). Here is a sample of what Google sees:

http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...afinetour.com/

You need more of them with your keywords in the anchor text.

hello,
i have seen your site and found that you have page rank 3.
that is good.
however, i found that you targetted some very popular keywords that are highly competitive.
for these keywords, you need to have higher link popularity to rank well in google.
