Hi All
New to this forum, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts to the above? Our site has Free Articles for reprint, free submisson, classifieds etc, every page of each article displays google adsense, maybe it's considered spamming? Yesterday we removed our Google adsense ads from the front page and replaced them with another service that pays for displaying their ads, keen to see if this makes a difference. We've been able to index really crapy pages with minimal keywords or no title, yet the one we've put alot of time into we can't seem to get indexed.....lol always the way! We've used Blogs to get other pages indexed which seems to work pretty well. Trying to do it with this one......there's another story. Opinions or feed back appreciated. |

Hi
I do not think that having adsense on your site would reduce your rankings, from a business point of view Google would want sites displaying adsense to be at the top of the results, it means more revenue for them. My thought on your lack of position for some keywords is that if you get an article on “homeowner loans” you think to yourself, that will pay well in adsense so I will optimise the pages, fair enough its how you make your money, but the chances are that the person who wrote the initial “homeowner loans” article is also aiming to get to top of the rankings, they probably have a site dedicated to the term and lots of relevant links as well as the links from the article they have written, so it is just more competition for you in an already crowded market. However when you get an article around an unpopular keyword and just do your standard optimisation you rank well because of a lack of competition. Well just my opinion and hope it gets you thinking.
