I reciently put a new URL system into effect for my magazine and while it shot me from 6 to 7, I'm wondering if it can be done better. The original urls were like this:
http://www.fusionauthority.com/Techn...ArticleID:4588 The new urls are set up like this: http://www.fusionauthority.com/Techn...4588-Vy-a-Duck Removing the articles.cfm and everything after it in order to have the article title on the url was great. I can also do it like this: http://www.fusionauthority.com/Techn...-Vy-a-Duck.htm Which is better? With or without the .htm extension? |
