Default Duplicate content issue: SEO

Hi,

I am planning to start distributing articles to various article websites.

Now, I want to put some quality content on my website for search engines. Question: if I put the same articles on my website, which I have already published on various article websites, would that create Duplicate content issue.

Would you suggest me to get two different articles for articles website and our website?

It depends. The search engines compare one page to another page to determine what is duplicate content and what is not duplicate content. So, you can publish the article on more than one page--as long as there's enough additional content on one of the pages so that it's not a duplicate of the other page.

I have been doing exactly the same thing. I will be adding articles from my blog just one a week - I have 2 yrs of regular article posts to choose from, and am using them from the oldest blog pages, and only really super-relevant ones.

I was afraid at first but realized it wasn't any different than exchanging them for links such as ideamarketers.com or somewhere else.

I only started and will post back if something catastrophic occurs - for sure.

I created an informational section and added my first article - it's actually different - being two similar articles synthesized into one (larger) article. Changed the text here and there (only take 5 or 10 minutes and published it.

Only thing I'm not sure if I should delete them from the blog after publishing them on my related website?? I don't think it'll miss a dozen or so articles out of over 200 currently listed. Probably can leave them in the blog but would love to hear any opinions on that part.

Good luck to both of us eh?

Hi,

If you view our blog at http://blog.go4outsourcing.com, you will notice that most of the content there are from other news, article websites. whatever we find useful we upload it there with proper reference to help our readers.

This is what the main concern is, am I getting punished by search engines for that?
