Default DMOZ Listing Required - kbscript.com

Hello SEO Experts,

We need some DMOZ Editor to add our website's listing in DMOZ under this category

http://dmoz.org/Computers/Programmin...Knowledgebase/

Is there anyone who can do this becayuse I have personally tried it several time but so far without any success. I can pay to the DMOZ editor (if required) to get http://www.knowledgebase-script.com included in the DMOZ directory under this category

http://dmoz.org/Computers/Programmin...Knowledgebase/

URL : http://www.knowledgebase-script.com
Title: phpkb Knowledge Base Content Management, PHP Knowledge Base Script
Description : Provide an easy-to-use knowledge base where customers can find solutions, frequently asked questions, documentation, and product briefs. [Commercial]

Hi, I was very tempted to edit your post. Never, under any circumstances offer money to have a site submitted by a Dmoz editor. We do have them in this forum, and the reason I am not editing this post is so that others may take note.

There is a DMOZ Sticky, please read it.

Offering to pay is more likely to get you a permanent ban than a listing.
If you have suggested your site there is nothing more you can do.

...probably the reason yu might not be listed - everytime you have "tried" you just overwrite the previous suggestion with the new date, so if the editor sorts the unreviewed pile by date, you just keep putting yourself to the bottom.

Submit ONCE to the ONE best category. Forget about it, as thats the most you can do.

Hello CBP,

When you say "Submit Once to the One Best Category", I did the same. The category I've specified above is the category we need the website to be listed under and there is no other best choice for that website.

By the way, I nenver submitted so frequently. I waited for atleast a month ro about 45 days to submit the new request again but all time without success. so, I am now left with no way other than to find a DMOZ editor and ask them to index the website in the DMOZ directory.

Just tell me by looking at the information provided by me in my posting, what am I doing wrong there...? Is there anything offensive in my listing, am i breaking any DMOZ laws or what?

I am just cusrious to know why this human edited directory editors are behaving so un-humanly by not accepting the new requests, not even bothering of atleast replying back.

Thats getting close to spamming DMOZ.

Once you have submitted, THERE IS NOTHING MORE THAT YOU CAN DO. You have done everything. An editor will eventually review your site and consider it for a listing if and when an editor chooses to work in that category wants to use the unreviewed pool. Asking for some sort of priority service is a sure way not to get reviewed.

I can tell you that your submission was NEVER unsuccessful, it just has not been reviewed yet and you just keep moving your site to the back of the list everytime you submitted. Reviews can happen anywhere from a few minutes to a few years following suggestion of a site.

Because its not a listing service to serve webmasters.
~75% of suggested sites are never listed.

Also, your attempt to stuff your submission with keywords in the title rather than follow guidleines is a good way to get an editor to skip over yours and go to other suggested sites to review.

BTW - please stop submitting multiple times to different categories other sites --- it really is creating much extra work for editors to delete tham and keep them away from reviewing sites .... don't figure that people complain about DMOZ and do not follow the guidelines

Default Still Waiting...!

Its about more than 10 months now since I last submitted to DMOZ for inclusion in the directory but there has been no action so far from DMOZ. how much time do I need to wait more?

I think that some competitor is the moderator of the category where we dould like to submit and that is why he is not approving our listing...!

Anybody has any ideas...?

Sincerely,

Question;
'Anybody has any ideas...? '

Yes, forget DMOZ, If they they do not want to list you. . that is it. It is pointless complaining. it is pointless having a relevant site, It is pointless thinking your site is worthy. It is pointless to waste more than five minutes on DMOZ

for what?. . . A listing in a directory! .

Thats mind blowing...!

$300 for just a link from DMOZ...! So, it means that corruption has touched the roots of DMOZ as well. I have thrown the idea of getting our site included in DMOZ as I am suite sure that ehere is some competitor who is the moderator of the category I'd like to include our site into.

I'll focus on the quality imporvement of our site rather than thinking about getting inclusion into DMOZ as I've read some where in this site (probably in the signature of incrediblehelp) that "Be the best and a link is what you'll get!". It is fully true and I fully agree with incrediblehelp about it. We have bene focusing on the quality imporvement of our software "PHPKB Knowledge Base Script" and now by the grace of god, our site shows a pagerank of 6 in this latest update.
