Default Where is my site in Google for 'my keyword' ?

I have done a Website Evaluation Test Tool as you can get to from my signature. I am trying very hard to give people EXACT standings - where their website is positioned for a certain keyword within Google.

Within charlierobot.com I get that and then tell you each week if you are lower or higher. For example:

www.charlierobot.com - [Search Engine Marketing] - 12,647 in Google
(improved 232 places since last week)

I feel that this is the information I want ..... does anyone agree or am I barking up the wrong tree.

What all do you do with my email address?

I get enough spam mail already.

:-) good point about the emails

we require the email and name so people won't spam the system. you know the amazon api costs money and the google api has its limits.

so we do so to limit .... or should i say balance the risk.

its a great tool and we want people to enjoy it .... not to abuse it.

:-) ... I like the comments.

The Website Evaluation Tool use every tool on the Internet and More .... thats what makes it cool, for me at least. I don't have to go around and check this here and that there, as well as that the results I can save to a html or send it to myself via email.

Why do I ask for emails and names, for 1 - the Alexa API costs and for 2 I send the report to your email, and 3 if I didn't then people would use it all day and the server would be spammed. Already since I launched it over 1500 requests a day go through it......imagine if I had open access it could be 5000 or more.

So maybe I should sell advertising space and get rid of the email ??
