Chitika uses AdSense

I saw a very strange thing with Chitika recently.

I integrated Chitika box into the page and saw... Google AdSense box instead of Chitika! Wow!! What a surprise!!

I opened html code of the page and it shows chitika code, not even a track of adsense. Still, I see adsense.

Maybe chitika is just using adsense to monetize on keywords that they don't have in there database (I mean don't have products/services in their). Has anyone faced it?

I never noticed that, but then again i haven't been using chitika very long. I guess it would depend on what keywords you were wanting to display.

Actually the keyword wasn't mine. It was one of my clients.

And the keyword was very tiny. I cannot disclose it, but a very specific niche in music educational. VERY specific.

So, most probably chitika wasn't ready to provide something from their database and they just used a chance to cut some google bucks.
