URL ReWrite for dynamic sites... Yes or No?

I have a few websites that run Wordpress blogs, Phpbb2 and other misc php scripts.

Especially concerning http://www.zoggin.com

I have a few well placed sites that are static but only a couple that are dynamic sites.

Is it wise to use an URL rewrite for the keyword values of the content on the pages. Is this a good idea? Does it really make a difference in serch engine placement? Page rank?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In my experience it does help.
