Default keyword ranking

Does anyone know if there is a way to see what ranking you have for a specific keyword or keyphrase?

I use the manual way, but do it at:
http://www.google.com/ie as it numbers them. Set preferences to 100 per page.

Just realised that I not sure - mine does 100 per page automatically.

I must have set preferences at 100 on the main www.google.com page and it remebered it for www.google.com/ie

There are many ways you can see your Google rankings:

Go to http://digitalpoint.com/tools/keywords/ and sign up for a free account that will not only allow you to see your results but will track the results over time for you. This will track your positions down to #9999.

You can download the free Gapis search tool which uses the google api from http://softnik.com but you will have to obtain a free api license from Google to use it. This will only report your positions down to #30.

While these are great tool IMO there are small differences between these, using your browser set to 100 results per page and using your browser set to 10 results per page, some from the different way Google clusters results, and some from the fact that the Google api seems to query a slightly different database.

Another Google reporting tool (requires a free signup)is at http://www.googlealert.com/index.php

It runs daily Google searches for you and emails you when new results appear.
