Default Good SEO Software

I just want to know, what others SEO companies/consultants are using for following exercise :-

- Sites comparision tool
- Site analysis
- Keywords Research and summary report
- Analysis Backlinks in major search engines(Google, Yahoo, AskJeevs, MSN)
- Verify that your link partners still link back to you
- Analyze allinanchor, allintitle or allintext
- Find where your site is ranked for your keywords
- Keyword density check

Are you using any SEO software like SEO Elite, Web Poitions Gold, Arelis etc.?

I am not aware how to provide optimization and ranking report to my clients.

Thanks

I use Internet Business Promoter and I have arelis for links but I dont really use it.
The software is not the be all and end all of SEO but for anyone starting out I think it provides a good guide line and asks the questions about how your pages are set up based on checklist of factors between your site and top ranking sites.
It also provides a nice tool to check your rankings for key words by entering the key phrases you want to check, the search engines you want to check on and the number of pages deep into the search engines database you want to check
I dont think it will offer any magical solutions, but at the same time it should be helpful.

Default Software are good for learning purposes only

Most of us professional seo don't use any software for SEO

Software are good for learning purposes only

But they should not be used for submissions on search engines.

You should also not use the software to check your website rankings in search engines, you should always check them manually.

Depends also, if you don't have the time to invest in seo, or the money constraints, then these soft wares could be your answer.

I personally use Web CEO. It saves me a hell of a lot of i time doing ranking checks when I have almost 35 clients I do reporting for and an average of 15 keywords each. Otherwise I do the links and optimizing by hand. Software for ranking checking is perfectly fine if you use your Google API.

I'll second that! I believe that approach is the only way to stay out front.
