Wats the way did the spiders crawl the site

hI friends, i have a simple doubt regarding the site crawlers thaat crawl our site we write in the meta tags to visit after 7 days think that the bot have crawled to day and when the google finds a new link to our site in the another site usually the bot will come to our site and crawls but yesterday the google bot crawled our site and we have written in the metatags to visit after 7 days then what the bot will do did it not crawl the site as because we written in the metatags or it follow the link that is present in the another site? plz any one know about the way tell me.Thankyou.

That tag has NEVER ever worked and has never been used by any search engine (except a small defunct one based in Vancouver). Just delete it. Bots crawl and come back when they want to.

A little doubt you said that bots crawl and come back when they want to my doubt is that it come to our site from an external new link on other site or a specific time that the robot maintains.

Spiders and crawlers have a mind of their own.

They don't listen to you. They just do what they are supposed to do. CRAWL.

You should be happy that the spiders are visiting you often.

I don't see any problems there, do you?
