Default Repeating keywords and phrases

Hello,

I have a Web Design Site that also has Website Templates for sale. These templates are of many categories.

At the Google Ad Words it has a Keyword Tool so I typed in "web design" and "website templates" and it came up with quite a list of suggested keywords and key phrases.

My problem is that I am somewhat confused about how to use different keyword phrases that apply to my site without duplicating words.

If you would take a look at these keywords and pharses below that give a general idea of what I'd like to use, could someone please explain to me what I would need to leave out?

For instance, if I have angel website templates and I have religious website templates and I have business website templates, etc... about 24 categories to choose from... then am I supposed to write down all those key phrases like that? Or is that considered "spamming" or too much duplications of words? Like, am I just supposed to put:

website templates, angel, business, religious, ? or can I repeat those phrases like:

angel website templates, religious website templates, business website templates, ?

Same question with background and backgrounds... and web sets, theme sets, ... Can I only say the word "sets" once?

I have the same problem with the phrase "web design", because lots of the phrases google suggests would be repeating words over and over... like below, for example... One last question how MANY keywords and phrases are you allowed to have? Is this list too long?
also, does it matter what order you put them in? should they be as in order of importance to your site? and do you do keyword and comma or keyword and comma with a space?

Default Ugh...

Ugh... what a list. My head hurts now.

Ok, now that I've shaken off the effects of reading that, here's my take.

If you look at the Google cache of some of the large sites, you'll see chunks of the page missing. The most common places that things are missing is in the header and footer which are duplicated across all the pages on the site. They know what's common among your site pages and don't normally use that a whole lot for ranking purposes. That's not really useful content, so it mostly gets ignored. I'd say that you'd be safe whichever way you go, as long as it makes sense for the visitor.

For our sites, we just keep the user in mind and our rankings have pretty much taken care of themselves. Not every page, but enough that we wouldn't be able to handle a whole lot more most any time. Expecting every page on one site to rank well (especially sites the size of ours) is a good goal but not necessarily something that you can expect or even want. That's where keyword diversity and content come in. Enough keywords and content and you'll get enough traffic to keep happy, even when things flip flop in the engines.

Brian.
