Default Secure search, beyond safe search.

I am looking for good links to my site. So many new sites pop up in finance where the only contact information is an email address. Unserious, in my view as a central banker for 20 years. I never link to a finance related site TODAY with bad contact information. I may have done it some years ago.

Fraud is getting more advanced. When I click a link, Spyware Doctor OnGuard, sometimes warns me that the site may contain harmful programs. Then I always choose to block the site.

Question: Does anybody know of a SE that does that for you, that is a SE with a option where you can filter out
1. Duplicates,
2. sites with corrupt code (spyware and worms etc.)?

That would improve my search and make it more effective and enable me to build a better site.

So, not only should regional search become more important, but secure search should be even more.

Google, Mamma, MSN, Teoma and Yahoo, join forces with Pctools to make search more secure.

You are who you link to.

greeneagle started a similar discussion a month or so ago about having search engines join with norton or symantec. Personally, I see that responsibility laying on the user and not the search engines. We've become a culture of blame everyone else and pass the buck. Educate yourself and you don't have to worry about fraud or viruses.

Default I deal that view.

"We've become a culture of blame everyone else and pass the buck. Educate yourself and you don't have to worry about fraud or viruses".

Excellent, but I asked for an OPTION in a SE. Personally, I would like such an option, since It will make my search more efficient.

Sites that Spyware Doctor blocks may be good sites. We do not know their algorithms. But in my 24 hours day, if I had to

1. Use time on hundred sites that were not blocked.
2. Use time on hundred sites that were blocked.

I would NOT use my time on the last.

And of course, there are excellent sites on the net with bad contact information. But among the millions of sites, I prefer to use my time on sites with good contact information, especially finance and ecommerce sites.

I am a human being with very restricted resouces, and the net is increasing exponentially, especially sites with bad contact information, since they are more automated.

Norwegian:
"Ingen er så stor
han tror
vi andre tror."

Translated:
Nobody is so great
he thinks
we other think.

Conclusion: In a free world, give me an option.

Hold up, are you talking about fraud prevention, virus blocking, or bad contact information? Your message is confusing to me now. Nothing can be done about bad contact information by search engines. Fraud prevention is up to the end user. Virus blocking is up to your anti-virus software.
