Which Search Engines are worth paying an annual fee for?

I have not used pay-per-inclusion search engines for a long time and see that the ones I used to use are no longer available, e.g. fast, inktomi, teoma, lycos, etc.
Which search engines would you suggest are worth while paying the annual fee for?
