Default web position

Hi,
I'm new to ecommerce, but have developed a site www.disapswimwear.com and wouldlike help on.

1.Given that two web sites have the same google page rank , with the same backlinks, and the same keyword. What determines the position of the sites when searched for that keyword?

2.If all other things are equal, will a single keyword rank higher than say 2 or 3 keywords when searched for the same keyword in google?
Thanks Alec

Tthe PageRank you see is very rough, and there are lots of PageRank differences between two sites with the same PR5 (i.e. one might be a 5.0 and another might be a 5.8, and since the scale is logrithmic, this is a HUGE difference).

Other things that make a difference:

Using heading tags (like you do), and text to html density (you are way high on the HTML density - consider using CSS).

Also, don't misuse heading tags to size your stuff, i.e. you have an H2 that has the text:

Click any of the images below for a superb range of further styles.

not a lot of value there.

What about longevity? Have both websites been around the same amount of time? Are they updated with the same frequency? Are the backlinks from the same pages? Which one comes first on the linked from page? What is the anchor text? How long does someone stay on the site after finding it in a search engine before they go back to the engine?

These are but a few of the zillions of things you need to think about. Forget about page rank - work on content.
