If you remove all the garbage from the link url and go directly to the site, then you can tell.

If you go to the actual site that sells the product, then it is an affiliate link.

Affiliate links sometimes use a company that tracks it for them. Some of these are wetrack.com. But again if you remove the garbage from the link, including any sub-domain extensions and go directly to the site..then you will know that it is that type of company.

Similarly the PPC's look like this type of link too. But it will be obvious once you get to the base site.

After a while...you will see a lot of the PPC and Tracking links over and over again. You will begin to know them by sight.
