Default Not all pages being indexed

I have over 5,000 wallpapers on my site, none of which are being indexed. Only 101 pages have been indexed by Google.

Could someone please offer some suggestions on how I might better optimize my site for better indexing?

http://www.wallpapervillage.com

I would appreciate any advice you could offer.

Thanks

jk

I took a brief look at the pages. The reason why they're not being indexed (I saw 110 of them in Google) is that they're considered to be duplicates.

The pages are probably being spidered, but Google appears to be seeing them as duplicates of each other. So, to get more pages in the index you would need to make all of the 5000 pages unique--add more unique content to them.

Hmmm...

Thanks for the reply.

I did the same type of thing on All-Free-Fonts.com and all the pages have been indexed. Only the actual file name is different. I do need to change titles and maybe include the font name on the download page for each font for clarity. On WallpaperVillage, I update the title with a better description for each wallpaper and add the wallpaper description as well.

Any idea what the difference might be?

Thanks,

John

Uh, the pages on your All-Free-Fonts.com site are also considered to be duplicates. 496 of those pages are indexed, but a lot of them are considered to be duplicates.

You need more unique content on each page or most of your pages on both those sites will be removed from the index.
