Default TiVo in talks with Google & Yahoo

As this subject covers both G & Yahoo, I thought it best here, but if a mod wishes to move, fine by me.
OK. It would appear that both Google and Yahoo are in talks with TiVo who have (US)3 million subscribers for their TiVo box, which is a pay for Video system. Google and Yahoo think that intergration of the Internet and Domestic TV are the route to the future. Now this $121 million minnow appears to hold the key as it has signed various exclusive Video deals. Films at the Box Office will be in your home at the same time (Broadband only)so the advertising opportunities for these two Giants is just too tempting, so who will win?

Since I have Tivo and use it constantly, I really don't care who wins, just as long as Tivo survives - they've been on the verge of going under until recently, and this deal would only sure-up their finances...

Googel would be a nice victory, since they would have more money to throw at them, but I think Yahoo does a better job at video search...

I think it's a shame that the deal needs to be exclusive. It's too bad how that's become the American reality, though.
