Default Too many Sitewide links hurting SEO?

We recently launched a new website, petloop.com

Yahoo has spidered it and is showing over 7000 pages. indexed.. On each page is link back to our company as a credit, so yahoo is now showing 66,000 links to www.obuweb.com.

I have seen a drop in my ranking in the last few days, and i am concerned it may because of all the sitewide links on petloop pointing back to obuweb. Google and msn.com have not fully spidered petloop yet, but I have seen a drop of 2-5 places for my major terms in G and Y.

For terms we were consistently ranking #1 and #2 for, we are now #4 and #5..

Could anyone offer any insight? Is this temporary, or something I should really be worried about?

Also we have launched 2 other smaller sites (5-12 pages) in the last couple weeks.. so it may appear to the SE's that we spiked in our IBLS..

Thanks

Yahoo has been jumping around a bit lately. Your ranking drop may be due to this, but it could also be some sort of a penalty.

You could always try and remove the links and see if the ranking goes back up. If so then Yahoo is penalizing, if not then there is some other reason behind it.

IMHO, site wide links should not get you a penalty. At worse they will just be ignored.

As long as the main site doesn't link back causing a reciprical type navigation between the two sites, you really should be ok...

I agree, there *should* be no penalty.

Otherwise hello - one more tool to take down and sabotage a competitor.
