Fastest way to get listed in Search Engines and Directories

Let's say I've created a new website and I've got some money for promoting it.

What would be the fastest way for getting listed in the main Search Engines and Directories? Is there any tool available for that? If so what would be the best one?

For the moment I have to go in each individual SE and Directory which is time consuming.

How you guys are doing for getting a new website listed without spending hours and hours?

Do not waste your time sumbmitting to SE's. They will find you via links. Do however spend time submitting to directories. These should be the first IBL's you develope and once found by the SE"s will get your site indexed.

For directories I've not found any better way than to go to each directory and submit the web site individually. Many have different requirements, and for niche directories I want my descriptive text to be targeted at the niche.

Following the directory guidelines, and submitting to the correct category is important for getting your listing accepted quickly. In particular with DMOZ. Volunteer editors have limited time, and those submissions that meet the guidelies, and are submitted to the right category, will be put in the directory the soonest.

Submitting to search engines is a waste of time, though it has turned into big money, link exchanges, directories, forums will get your site noticed quicker and not cost you a dime.

I've found a way to get indexed AND
a #1 spot in yahoo AND #1 and #2 listings
on Google in less than 30 days.

If my second test of these methods pans out
