combining several identical web sites

I have several domains with identical contact, but only one main one that I promote.
If I do a 301 redirect on the other domains, will I lose any traffic or is there any thing negative about doing that from a search engine's perspective?

if i understand you correctly then no, redirecting the extra links would be the sensible thing to do, rather than risk penalisation by mirroring.
