Ask Jeeves, the Great White Shark of all bots

Why? simple: it has been eating my bandwith without remorse.

We have developed an application that monitors our home page, and each time our home page gets a visit from ANY search engine bot, it sends us an e-mail telling us it did.

Now, Ask's bot has been biting my home page tremendously, much more than any other SE. Look:

Google: 46 times
Yahoo!: 50 times
MSN: 9 times
Ask: 367 times

And all these are just for ONE day only.

Question:

Why is it that Ask's bot makes these many visits? (and these are just for our home page)

Last month Jeeves ate up 6.43 GB of my bandwidth on 260814 hits for one of my sites compared with about 200 MB on all the other bots combined. Wouldn't mind it much if it actually generated any traffic.
