It appears that they contract with websites that have a lot of keyword text. They have them put anchor-text links on keywords to companies that pay for the service. I just had a computer review site post a review on one of our products - http://www.bigbruin.com/reviews05/dh...dex.php?file=2. I was about to be happy to see some exposure and a few good links to my site, but when I got it, it was stuffed with anchor text links to our competition. I looked into it and it appears that they are using a company called IntelliTXT. http://text.burstnet.com/whatisIntel...ipid=546&cc=us
Does anyone know about this service? I see this as a threat to my SEO efforts, unless I bow to their services. Will Search Engines credit these companies with tons of keyword links? Will Google feed into this or will they find a way to <nofollow> such a service?
