"Link to Us" - Does it really work???

I see a lot of sites with the Link to us seperate page on their website...

Does it really work in increasing the page ranking???

Please let me know your views on it

I have no idea if it works or not, but it costs nothing to have it on a site.

on a small website, I doubt it works.
However on a larger website I've had it work.
