Reporting Fraud and Spam

Firstly may I thank Ken (Greeneagle)for his invaluable help, this thread really belongs to him as he is the genius not me.
We all know that SPAM is a nuisance. We have all seen Spam entries into forums. I saw one yesterday not here at WPW but somewhere else offering commissions on drug (pharmacy)sales over the Internet.No qualifications required, just sell to anyone, I guess some forum members were being targetted?

Ken and I think that this subject deserves a 'sticky' for that we need your thoughts your experiences so we would very much appreciate not seeing 600 views and only 16 replies. This subject affects everyone of us everyday. Lets get rid of it on both sides of the pond and elsewhere. Thanks David

Phishing is a big problem lately too.

Netcraft is leading the fight against phishing with their new toolbar. The toolbar shows the age of a site and nationality of the hosting, which can immediately clue you into something phishy going on. It also allows you to report phishing sites, and toolbar users will receive notice that confirmed phishing websites are fraudulent.
