Default Competitor with my description?

Anyone point me to why this is happening?

we have a "competing site" that is displaying the text from my footer in their description on MSN.

This site is "competing on the Charlotte rent to own terms" we target but the description below is from MSN results when I search "iNode Software" .

I cannot find this text actually displayed anywhere in the cached page nor in the current page, but this is exactly what I changed the footer on our pages to say just yesterday morning and here it is under their site description.

URL of results:
www.cash **NOSOUPFORYOU** foryourhouse.us/kelly/Earn-ugly/we/buy.html

... houses. Now available is Rent to own Durham area homes. And software information about iNode software in the | Rent to own Jacksonville market where they play Rocball. Sell Your House ...

Just visited the site in question with Firefox and viewed the source code. Your copy text is right there.

It is hidden because it is provided as "alternative text" within an IFRAME element. Most browsers support IFRAME, so thats why you do not see it. In FireFox, just switch off all styles and the site will reveal it's true nature.

Have a look at the IFRAME explanation at
http://www.htmlhelp.com/reference/ht...al/iframe.html
and you will understand.

Now, SPIDERS are like browsers which do not support IFRAME, so they get fed the alternative text, which includes your copy text.

I suspect that the code gets fetched automatically from your pages. Have a look at your access_log and search for their domain or IP, you might find the agent.
